Thermostatic heads automatically maintain the selected temperature. The temperature in each room is reliably controlled, without the need for an external energy source, exactly according to your requirements. The temperature of the air flowing around the sensing element determines that the temperature you have chosen in the room is maintained: If the air temperature rises, the sensing element inside the thermostatic head expands and the water supply to the radiator is throttled. If the air temperature drops, the sensing element is pressed and subsequently opens the thermostatic valve.
