ESC PLUS CONTROL AND PROTECTION SYSTEM

DAB.ESC PLUS

The electrical device is designed for the protection of electric motors and pumps for drilled wells.

The device protects electric pumps from:

• overcurrent
• missing phase (three-phase version only)
• short circuit
• dry running
• operating status is indicated by LEDs

The water level is not controlled by conductivity probes, but by changing the cos φ (action) of the motor. In case of dry running, the pump is switched off for a short time. The system checks four times automatically whether there is sufficient water for pump operation after restarting. The pump then remains permanently switched off (no water).
