pipe bender

A pipe bender (or lokvar) is a component used to change the direction of flow of a liquid or gas in a pipe by 90 degrees. The shape of the sluice is usually similar to the letter "L" and allows the flow from the main pipe to change direction into a secondary pipe, which is located at a very right angle to the main pipe.

The main functions of the lock in the pipeline include:

Reversing Flow: A diverter allows a liquid or gas passing through a pipe to change direction by 90 degrees. This can be useful if the pipe needs to be routed around obstacles or other structures.

Allowing the installation of additional components: The lockbox can serve as a location for the installation of additional piping components such as valves, filters or reducers, allowing for improved control and regulation of flow in the system.

Flow Splitting: A manifold can be used to split the flow of a liquid or gas into multiple pipe branches, which can be useful in a variety of applications.

Lugs are manufactured from a variety of materials such as metals (eg steel, brass), plastic and others, and are available in a variety of sizes and specifications to suit the particular needs of the piping system.

This type of component is commonly used in piping systems in various industries including construction, water management, industry and other applications where it is necessary to change the direction of the flow of liquid or gas.
