Power Supply
A backup source is a system that includes a generator, fuel cells or batteries, and other electrical devices that, in the event of a power outage in the network, quickly ensure its restoration and short-term supply. In homes and offices, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems working with alternating current at both input and output are used as backup sources. In hospitals, scientific laboratories, data centers and telecommunications equipment, 48V DC output backup power supplies are mainly used. In power plants, purely mechanical backup sources operating on the flywheel principle are used.
