They provide solar expansion vessels in solar
system the following functions:
- they protect the system from an increase in the volume of the solar fluid
in the system
- they expand the heat-carrying substance without its loss
- they stabilize the liquid pressure at a given level
- replenish the solar fluid in case of small leaks through
leaky joints

Pressure expansion vessels are welded pressure vessels whose interior space is
divided by a membrane into two parts: air and liquid. The air part of the membrane
is equipped with an air pressure control valve.

The liquid part is filled with solar liquid
solar system. The correct pressure in the air section stabilizes the pressure in the entire solar
system (the system maintains a constant pressure when the volume changes due to heat). Pressure vessels
as standard, they are supplied filled with constant pressure gas.

During assembly it is necessary
adjust the pressure in the air part to the needs of the solar system. Expansion vessels can be
used in systems with propylene glycol with a working temperature of up to 110 °C and a pressure of up to 6 bar. IN
solar systems must use at least one safety valve, thermometer and pressure gauge.
