Thermostatic Heater Heads. Thermostatic heads automatically maintain the selected temperature. The temperature in each room is reliably controlled, without the need for an external power source, exactly according to your requirements. The temperature of the air flowing around the sensing element determines that your selected room temperature is maintained: if the air temperature rises, the sensing element inside the thermostatic head expands and the water supply to the radiator is throttled. If the air temperature drops, the sensing element compresses and then opens the thermostatic valve.
